Research & Performance Associate, Real Estate
Jamil joined Bailard in 2020 as a Research & Performance Associate on the real estate investment team. In this role, Jamil contributes to market research for quarterly reporting and ad-hoc white papers, as well as performance analysis to determine drivers of risk and return. Prior to Bailard, he worked at CBRE in Los Angeles as Senior Research Analyst on the Thought Leadership Team where his primary duty involved authoring market flashes, insight reports, and white papers on a wide variety of real estate topics. In addition, Jamil delivered real estate market analysis identifying market opportunities both locally and nationally. Jamil holds a M.B.A. in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from California State University - San Bernardino, in addition to a B.S. in Physics from Morehouse College. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and baseball, as well as collecting retro Jordan sneakers.
